Thank you everyone (especially my birthday thread starter the lovely Lucy!)

Despite the damper on the day of having to sort of work by driving to Somerset yesterday afternoon after dropping a special girl at the station, the day was overall pretty darn mega and wonderful! In fact the celebrations started early and just got better, but if it's worth doing it's worth doing properly right?

Just driven back from Somerset today after the delayed appraisal ... no way I was suffering that on my day ... but the cake should still be fresh enough to share.

Now remember over the next twleve months who has shared cake on his birthday ...
