Meat got people surrounding him who don't even try to argue with him....at least I guess...
That this song is on the album is beyond me.
That they turned it into a cheap duet is beyond me.
That this song was the first single is beyond me.

Good strategy though that they did a different approach. The song is different than other versions. i had to get used to it. it's not bad. It is kinda good. The song is more "easy listening". I love Meat's voice. I love "moments of goooohooold".

Iam missing some parts of the song, it's a damn shame.
7/10.

Yep pretty much agree with Bart. 6/10.
Far too cheesy arrangement imo and first single of what is supposed to be such a monumental rock album is beyond belief.... CHSIB, DIST, MOS and BAAB are better suited as Meat singles imo eventhough IACBTMN scored/will probably score better than these....

I pretty much agree with Andrew and Bart and give it 6/10 (I'm being generous).

Vocals from Meat are great, Marions a bit too 'high'.

Lyrics and song 'story' are very meaningful.

Dion version references, took something away from it, for all the wrong reasons.

Great song but not a great single for the wrong reasons. 8/10.

Not keen on this one. Nothing wrong with it, just not my cup of tea.

The jury's still out on the duet/backing vocals debate, but this is infinitely better than Celine's butchery of it.
If I don't look at the video ~ 7/10

It's not bad, but i think the single edit doesn't work at all...

If it was recorded for or just after Bat 2 I think it would've been a totally different version and a better one. I'm glad he recorded it, but to me it's the 2nd best version of the song, with Pandoras box being 1st.

A great song that should never have been made into a duet. I just find the production to be lacking. Meat's vocals are good though.

I've secretly always wanted Meat to record this song. However, this isn't exactly how I thought it would turn out. I like it though. 8

I wish I could hear Meat sing it all by himself.

I think any version of it is cheesy...

mmm.... well Meats version, well it's grew on me but i am dissapointed with the track, I much prefer the original by Pandoras box (its so overblown and powerful) and I also prefer the (en Masse version).

Meat version

4/10
