After listening to DW on that website I understand why it wasnt taken for the final album.
Itīs not bad, but itīs not Meatish enough. And IMO every song on CHSIB is better than this one. The writers demo fits more to that song than Meatīs voice. |

ok, listened to it again a few times, had a bit to drink, its not crap after all. but radiomaster said it better than me. average song, but not better than any that made the album.

You go to the guy who wrote it Michael Duff's website http://www.duffweb.com/index2.html and scroll down the news section and hey presto! There's a short passage in English that reads: Meatloaf recorded a song Duff co-wrote with songwriting giants Shelly Peiken and Jud Friedman - it was scheduled to be on the just-released Meatloaf CD, but isn't (they still haven't told us why). It was released on a promo E.P. but not the CD. Click here to listen to an MP3 of the Meatloaf version. Click here to listen to the original demo version. Each of these links will open up a new window. The here parts are dead give aways as the links you should click on because they're underlined. Pud |

If you have noticed that everyone in this topic is talking about it, then surely you must have noticed that it's mentioned several times where to find it...

Hmmm... I duno if I agree with this getting cut from the album or not.
I see that it's a bit straightforward and predictable. It's not up to the quality of anything from the first half of the album... but it's production is way clearer and less muddy than most of what made it on the album, especially Why Isn't That Enough and and You're Right I Was Wrong. Meat's voice is really good on it too. It's catchy. Nothing too special tho I guess. |
