Default Timings?

I'm going tomorrow 9th (Southampton).
After the frantic scrabble to get the tickets from Royal Mail (redirections not happening!), my mate says she can't go!
Attempting to find new mate! but they are all likely to be working til 5 or 6, so wondering if anyone has any ideas of timings for the show (or prvious shows).
Gates open at 4pm, when do supports start. When do Bon Jovi come on, or even when it is likely to end.

TIA

Karen

Bon Jovi come on about 8pm and play until about 11pm, if you have golden circle tickets get there early though, the queues were a farce at Manchester. its an amazing show though.

So, how were they then?

Who's suffering from sun burnt foreheads? How chaotic were the car parks? Which bit of the stage did you have to brush Chris? So many questions, so little time...

FABULOUS!!!

Didn't have to queue very long for anything really, not to get in, to get food, to get out, or to get the car out of the car park - very impressed...

Nickelback were great, Bon Jovi are always great, but didn't rate the unsigned band (Spin), mind you, they were from Leeds...

I went also! Got in for free though, with backstage pass because my dad's a Roadie and set up the stage for the concert. Great show!

I didn't get to brush any of the stage. Had my passes taken off me. Apparently the journo needed to take a photographer rather than a random newsie!

Don't know if anyone at the concert noticed that Hugh (bass) and David (keyboard) wore wristbands? My friend sent them to the band as she has Motor Neurone Disease and they very kindly wore them, and invited her backstage to meet them all.

She's still not come back down to earth enough to tell me all about meeting them, but I'm so very pleased for her that the band were so good to her.

Yep Sarah, both of them did have wristbands on. Not sure if they were red or blue though cause in some of our pix they look blue others red Hugh has his on early on but it seems to of vanished by the encore Very cool though. Was your friend sat in the wheelchair area? We were and may of seen her.

Found a couple where you can see them, some of these are Christines & Chrisni's pix but i'm sure they wont mind me posting them.

I haven't had the opportunity to find out if she was in the wheelchair area yet Deb. The Willow Foundation arranged the day for her. Back when it was first arranged she was fairly mobile, but with Motor Neurone Disease, sometimes paralysis can progress very rapidly. She hasn't been online much since the concert as I expect the long day really took it out of her (another symptom of the disease unfortunately).

I went to the last gig at Hull, unfortuantly Nickleback wasn't playing
Apart from the rain and getting totally wet it was good!
