A post whore is an affectionate term for somebody who goes off topic on an on topic topic.
Confusing enough?
It's a leg pull,not an insult .
It is often used by moderators as a joking hint to say stay on topic

A smiley made by R.

R. sometimes used it for somebody who goes off topic on an on topic topic.

That's the reason why I used it here. It's just a funny joke.

Neill, thanks for the explanation.

Actually, to be a POSTWHORE on this forum is considered by many to be a good thing. It has been an affectionate term for people back and forth almost since the board's birth.

Yeah I do to. I'm fortunate enough to have a high quality live version of Meat singing this and I prefer it to the album one. The live one has more electric guitars at the beginning intro instead of the acoustic and he doesn't jump right into the chorus after the first verse, he waits until after the second to do so. Good song. Steinman intentionally tried to make the story very simple.

Well it is a classic JS composition. But I do not like the version on Dead Ringer at all.

Good but not my favourite. Mainly because Dead Ringer is probably my least favourite album. This is probably the best track on it though.

I LOVE this song, it is my absolute favourite of Meat's EVER!!!

It's also my favourite album, because each and every song on it is an emotional masterpiece.

Read'Em and Weep makes me, well, weep, Dead Ringer Lifts me up and smile, and this song sends shivers down my spine. I know it is a hard song to sing becuase I have lost my voice several times after singing this on the way to work

The lyrics are beautiful, I LOVE the ending, Meat's voice is powerful and packed with emotion, the video is superb, and each time I listen to it I can see the whole "drama" being acted out. I also love the piano at the start, "When the screws are tightening..." is BEAUTIFUL and tragic...

FANTASTIC - Meat's best song ever!!! If he doesn't do it at Wembley on December 18th, I'm going to get up on stage and do it myself :)

100/10! At least!

I hope this doesn't make you sad when you read this, but.................
My late first husband (Karens father) loved this record, and we always promised each other no matter what happened that 'I'm Gonna Love Her For Both Of Us'.

This record has soaring emotional ties for me, and I will gladly give this record 10/10 for putting into words everything I couldn't at the time.

It's one of my all time favourite songs.
About the Dead Ringer Album, I definitely agree with you, but I guess we are a minority!

Especially the last 4 or 5 minutes of the song: chills upon my spine for 5 minutes (it's muuuuuch longer then the average orgasm of human kind).
Indeed, not far from that... and that look at the end of the video... my good lord!

this song surely belongs to my all time Meat Loaf Top 10 Maybe Top 5

"and if you give me your girl and if you give me your trust and if you give till the end of the night, i'm gonna love her for both of us"

i also find it a great Riddle why they didn't use this Song as the Opener of Deadringer instead of Peel out, it really has al elements of an album openerer.

my favourite part is where it gets exstatic:
.....
I never wanted thought that you was one of my brothers but she was singing like a siren to me over the waves...singing like a siren to me over the waves....THERE AINT NO HOLDING ME DOWN!!!!
a musical explosion
just like

my heart....still beating...breaking out of my body and flying away...LIKE A BAT OUT OF HELL

great song

This song is kick ass!

What can I say, the lyrics are pure genius and try singing the damn thing... You can't only Meat can! I that!

I especially love the part where he says;

#There ain't no holding me down...#
Can't explain why and if you own Hit's Out Of Hell... That shoulder roll at the end is sexy as hell!!!!!

!

Sorry forgot to vote.. image of shoulder roll in head !!
