Death Penalty: I would have to say no especially how our legal system allows re-trails etc, although I think in the cases of shipman, huntley etc They should become scentific guinny (?) pigs so that way the goverment keep the general public and animal rights happy in one go!!

The age of consent should stay the same although being a happy married 29 year old I feel comfortable saying this without too many screaming replies, I would not like to be a single teenager again, as the way teens dress now it is very difficult telling a 13 year old from an 18 year old!!
Please don't get me wrong on this issue but I'm happy its not me playing russian roulette with a girl guessing her age!!!

I think that death penalty is too hard punishment. Criminals should be sent into Siberia to do some lumberjack jobīs.

Death penalty - yes in certain cases. child killers, terrorists and the killing of a police officer in the course of their duty. Failing that they should be kept in prison for life and the sentence should be a punishment - no tv, gym, swimming pool, or money for designer gear from catalogues.

Age of consent should not be lowered. For gods sake let our children be children. They may look fairly grown up but when they open their mouths you can tell they are only kids. I find it frightening standing in a queue listening to very young girls discussing with each other what they have been up to with their boyfriends the night before.

I am a parent with quite liberal views but I am glad that I am not brining up a young girl now with all the pressure from magazines etc encouraging them to grow up before their time.
