Fireball might be playing JOKER in Jim Steinman's BATMAN-THE MUSICAL, which will be good. Apparently, though it's just rumored, Meat Loaf and Robert Evans have already made demos for the new musical. What has Fireball got to say about all this? And will there be BATMAN songs on BAT 3?

Hey Fire Ball!
Most of us never doubt that you will promote BATIII 120%(or even more )!
So please don't be angry with us. I can understand, that you are getting angry when you were giving everything from you and than you have to read something negative about it-but these negative are the minority.
We-the true fans- will never ever have any doubts!

Rock on Fire Ball!!!

P.S.: hope I was able to express it right, but my english is not 100%

Meat, I know your gonna work your ass off promoting Bat III, but the closing chapter of the Bat trilogy is gonna be the biggest event of rock history .Even if you didn't promote it, it will still be a smash.
Put it this way, the day Bat III is released, i'm gonna buy a new hat.If neither the album or singles get to No.1 I'LL EAT IT

That's so true, though I understand how despondent and discouraged Meat must get. Even when most people are encouraging, positive and pleasant it's easy to have your spirits dragged down by a few with negative thoughts and accusing tongues.

But I do hope Meat can complete the later repeat legs of this tour despite recording Bat3, even if dates are delayed .. the reviews of his current shows demonstrate that he is in as good form as he has ever been, and it would be so good for his many loyal fans who adore him to see this celebration of an enduring world class talent, and the "Last World Tour" would be the huge triumph it should be :)

Meat,

You have it wrong here. You do make us very happy. I am just very irate that I have been told there would be a make up date, when that was never the plan all along. I am a hard working man too and need to watch my finances. I have been sitting on four tickets that I paid hard earned cash for - waiting for the chance to see you rock once again. You make us very happy. What does not make me happy is being jerked around, being told by the venue and Ticketmaster that they have an agreement with you to make up a show that you have no intention to make up. I could have done a lot with that just over $200.00, especially with Christmas coming. Ticketmaster can take my money in just under 30 seconds, yet it will take them two to three weeks to return it? Certainly you can see where my frustration lies.

America really wants to see Meat Loaf return here. There is no show like a Meat Loaf show.

Saying that you cannot make us happy is wrong Meat. You make us very happy. It is just difficult a lot of the time. It would be much easier if there was more communication. Please understand this.

BTW, you need to have someone contact PromoWest and let them know you are not coming so they can inform the people still holding onto tickets for your make up date.

ROCK ON FIRE BALL!!!

Meat
Hi Meat !

Thank you !!!

I guess they're right when they say that you can't please all of the people all of the time

Yes, obviously there is a lot that goes on behind the scenes that we don't know about :) But what some people don't realize is that, from an Economics point of view, the US is just one small piece of the puzzle .....
if they were to do a competitive market analysis of the record industry, looking at the supply and demand of the product (CHSIB) as a whole, and taking other underlying factors into consideration (i.e. timing), this strategy actually makes a lot of sense.

What doesn't make sense to me is what the heck were you doing on the internet posting this message at 6:00 in the morning

Seriously though, please remember that you make your TRUE fans very happy, and we will always be there to support you, no matter what And there are those of us who are willing to sit here patiently waiting for Bat III and to see if you can hopefully schedule more shows after you come back from Australia.

In that case, David, I'd would have preferred a simple clear statement instead that kind of that ... ummm ... "rant".

R., I would kindly beg that one man's rant is another man's frustration speaking.

It is sad I had to go into a rant to be rewarded with the truth about the Columbus make up date. But, I certainly hope that you can understand why I felt so frustrated about this.

So I have no right to complain if I feel someone is holding my money without giving me anything in return. I took a lot of grief over the stupid racing shirts, but no one complained about people complaining over that one now did they? I just thought it odd that part of the band was off planning other shows during a time period I have a PAID ticket for a SOLD OUT show! Get over it Vicki ~ you are acting like a board cop!

ROCK ON TANTRUM BOY!!!

P.S. I put two posts together so that Caryl would not have to correct me on that issue as well!!!

Well David, if people continue to abuse Meat on this board, I'll exercise my right to bring his attention to it :

(1). I took exception to your suggesting that you are speaking for a great percentage of American fanbase when I seriously doubt that's true.

Quite frankly this sounds like Meat was being intenionally hurtful and cruel ... when clearly it made sense for him to make them up now before he continued onto Australia.

The point is, on the outside, Meat Loaf is giving the appearance of giving america the big P I S S O F F !!!!
(4). Not only were you acting as a spokesperson for the US fans, as well as putting words in ChoccyBat's mouth ... I took exception with you insinuating that Meat does not care about his US fans and is giving America the big P I S S O F F, which is clearly NOT true.

The bottom line is the facts you quoted were incorrect, and I simply gave Meat the opportunity to point that out and correct them. And if I'm acting as a board cop ..... well somebody has to do it, and it might as well be me

Who is TANTRUM BOY this time David If I remember, you used that to describe Meat not too long ago .....

and how did Caryl's name get dragged into this I don't remember seeing her post anything when you started this thread ....

I never abused Meat Loaf in any way. I was simply stating my case.

Be gone!

This is the most joyous and blessed time of the year, and I do not have time to deal with bitter women who have nothing better to do than tattle.

Thank you for tattling to Meat so that I can finally get my answer. I love you for that, among other things.

Boy, I never know what I'm going to find when I come on here! Sometimes you guys are a volatile bunch :) I'd just like to go on record as 1) an Ohioan who loves Meat, 2) an Ohioan who doesn't feel pissed off, or pissed upon, or anything, and 3) an Ohioan who was looking forward to seeing Meat in Columbus in the Spring (I have tickets too, actually 2 sets because the first seats I got were crummy) but if it doesn't happen that's life. I'll be sad but that's life. Last September when the Cleveland radio promotion took priority, I understood that was a business decision, and sometimes the record companies kind of call the shots, don't they? So I don't think Columbus fans needed to take that personally; I didn't anyway.
Love you no matter what, Meat.

It's a good thing that we all have tolerance and respect here otherwise I can see this thread heading for fight club Seems to me that calling Vicki bitter isn't tolerant or respectful.

Just so there's no misunderstanding here, David was the one who said I was acting like a board cop. That was not my intention .... I felt that David's comments against Meat, and his treatment of his U.S. fans, were both disrespectful and uncalled for ... and I thought someone should bring it to Meat's attention.

I know that it was David who coined the phrase, but as a member of the mlukfc team (even a minor one), forgive me if I take the comment "well somebody has to do it" rather personally.

I agree, in the sence that I cannot agree with everything David said, or how it was said, but it WAS said on a public forum.Nothing was said behind Meat's back.Meat reads these forums for himself, and it is reasonable to assume that he would read this too. There was speculation on this thread, that's why R. removed it's announcment status.Meat stopped by to end the speculation, for which i'm sure we're all very grateful as usual, but IMHO Meat does not need to be told where and when he needs to speak out.
