Yes, although I'm not sure we heard a massive amount from any of the Backbone members last episode .. the editors were too transfixed by NeNe's various outbursts and angry blasts to camera. They'll choose what they think will get the bulk of their viewers excited, plus some key pieces on each team's progress to delivery, so yes, there will have been much Meat said which was omitted for that reason I guess. This week they found his talking whilst in the bathroom hilarious (Hey! The man can think, talk and pee simultaneously!! Amazing!!!!) so they featured that .. which I guess showed he is at least like most human beings , plus his backstage work with lighting.

I think Meat takes a balanced approach .. offers his ideas, but when he's not PM accepts the PM's decision with a good grace .. though logging it to camera. When he's PM he's prepared to put his ideas firmly on the table, but will also accept someone else's ... remember his opening gambit with the book was "It has to be about animals"? .. but he was flexible and went with the classroom concept instead.

The way they pick and choose in editing is the way they do it. It's what I don't like about any "reality" show, and Trump's Apprentice in particular. I'm more interested in watching the dynamic of each team putting together their final product, and prefer the UK version with observers who stay with each team throughout and provide focused and often pithy comment on what went on, rather than the brief visit of the Trump off-spring and their smug appearance in the boardroom. And I could take a lot less of Trump stirring the pot in the boardroom to give more time to watching the teams perform. But that's the way it is, so I refuse to allow myself to be put out by it, and enjoy watching Meat at work in a way we don't normally get to see

True, but them Trump pays little attention imo to what each does or even what others say about people when making his decisions. And if he does, he may have the wit to identify that the only negatives uttered about Meat are by people who are so impatient to rush into action they find his wealth of creative ideas hard to handle. If I give Trump the benefit of having some senior level business expertise, and the sound sense of knowing the importance in modern business to be able to identify and use people who can come up with innovative ideas .. then he'll spot what the issue is imo.

I believe Meat's a stayer in this, and that Trump will consider him a keeper.. for his creativity, his focused energy, his unfailing humour and good nature (save for the "Busey" which in itself was a coup for Trump, although hugely eclipsed now by NeNe .. ) and the emotion he feels and is able to show .. the last alone is imo sufficient to make him intriguing to Trump, like a rare species

I recall seeing somewhere, the webcast, maybe? Ivanka saying that the viewers have said that they enjoy the boardroom the most, so they have been including more of that footage in the broadcast. They must have literally hundreds of hours of raw footage, so it must be a challenge to choose what to include, but they can also put whatever spin they wish on it.

Oh I'm sure what they consider their target audience love the boardroom .. I assume the editors believe they enjoy seeing women screaming abuse at each other as well I understand why they edit the way they do .. and of course they put on it whatever spin they think is the best fit for their ratings and no doubt their boardroom decisions. I'm not one of their target demographic and am watching the Trump version solely because Meat is in it .. so as I said, I endure, refuse to allow myself to get annoyed by their editing, and enjoy watching Meat and what I can take from the show Meanwhile I look forward to Lord Sugar's version, which is beginning again soon, for different reasons

I find that the boardroom scenes go on far too long. I find myself getting bored whilst they're all squabbling and would much rather see more of the tasks but I don't think I'm their target audience and I'm only watching the show because Meat's in it.

The only editing I get annoyed about sometimes is when they do it to make Meat look bad because I know there are people that are judging him on it. Thankfully he's proven himself to be a hardworking and creative man and he seems well liked by the other cast members so that can't be bad

Regarding Sunday's episode, I definately thought that the men's presentation was better and more entertaining than the women's. Meat was as creative as ever but I don't actually think his team mates were listening to him properly when he was coming up with ideas. I think that because he is so creative. Those that aren't as creative can sometimes find people like him hard to deal with because they can't be bothered to listen to and make sense of their ideas. We didn't see as much of him as I'd have liked but then again they wanted to take advantage of the dispute between Star and Nene.

Actually if you look back at two of the ideas Meat came up with they ultimately settled on something virtually identical so although they were laughing at him they did get their final idea from his ideas. Meat had the ideas of dancing accross america, or using faruq accross america, and as you saw they did go with the concept of the hair products being used accross america, so it was Meats idea, but they almost seemed to portray that Little John came up with it which pissed me off to be honest.

It might have been one of those situations where you're only half listening to someone, come up with an idea that you thinks your own, and then discover that was what the person you were half listening to just said. So Little John probably thought it was his idea, but i can tell you it wasn't.
