just a thought and a guess,nothing more,but maybe they're not taking new paid members as the site is so close to changing hands.

That's kind of what I thought but then signing up as a new member would have worked if Iwould have gone that route. Anyhow, I tried it on the laptop and it actually works - it takes you to the checkout in the store with the membership upgrade in the basket. That's a relief. Will wait though, a bit, to see if the change site means anythng different, etc....

i wouldnt see any reason to join at the moment anyway, maybe when (if) hes touring again, but right now you dont really get anything for the money, do you?

lol at the PMs.....reminds me of way back when he was on AOL and I had him on my buddy list - it was such a rush knowing he was online. :) I guess I just miss some of the people that are on .net and the occasionally post from Meat was always a bonus.....will wait and see....

In regards .net, as others have said I really wouldn't think about paying at the moment. My membership will be due for renewel in April ( I think! ) but if there's no word of upcoming dates by then I'll hold off with the payment until there is, I'm not handing over cash just to view a forum that I don't even read
