I just hope and pray that there will be some way that those of us in the UK will be able to see it. You Tube, perhaps?

good luck. I would but I dont want to risk the threat of copyright strikes. NBC is known to be pricks about content on youtube. especially SNL material.

NBC has their own official channel on YouTube ... so maybe they'll post the episodes on there

Going back to the thread title, I don't like seeing anyone lose their temper, particularly someone I respect and admire as much as Meat but I'm sure he had his reasons. I'd never heard of this Gary Busey before we heard he'd be on Celebrity Apprentice with Meat but by the sounds of it, he is pretty strange. We'll find out the reasons behind it soon enough. |

Gary Busey seemed kind of odd and slightly repulsive when he was young, and I think he decided he had something good goin' on there, and just really went with it :) If you have "Chasing Ghosts" (2005) pull it off the shelf and play the outtakes to see what he's like. Btw Meat's one outtake (actually it's an improv) is hilarious! (but to get it, you have to watch the movie first; which is fine, it's a good movie)
I've seen the clips from Celebrity Apprentice, and my favorite, hands down, is the one where Meat tells Gary Busey "You'll be in the hospital in about 4 minutes!" I think Meat looks fabulous in the clip. Honest anger, passionately and non-violently expressed makes for entertaining TV, and to tell you the truth I don't have any problem with it in real life, either. -Kathy |

There was no physical violence, and it is obvious in the clip that Meat was not looking to provoke any. Having passionately expressed his anger, he is shown moving away; he wants no physical confrontation. It is the honesty of his expression that appeals to me and, I think will to many viewers of the show. It's great that he can support a charity by using his business acumen and his talent for entertaining. And make no mistake, this is entertainment! I have no idea if Meat's part in this clip was spontaneous or if he planned it in advance; either way, this clip in particular has me looking forward to the show even more than I was before :)

It's verbal violence and an indication that a person is overstrained with a particuar situation, I don't consider it "entertaining" at all and I find it disappointing that many people think it is. The clip that shows Meat yelling at Busey will probably make a lot of people watch this season of Celebrity Apprentice but it has quite the opposite effect on me. If you like that show, that's fine with me, I don't expect anybody to share my opinion but I will try to ignore the reality TV persona Meat Loaf in order to make sure that I can enjoy the work of the singer/actor Meat Loaf without prejudice. I'm looking forward to the new album. |

What does Bat Out Of Hell have to do with a situation that causes an argument between people? I love to listen to Bat, that's what I call entertainment (because singing that song actually requires talent - unlike yelling at someone). Seeing Meat (or whoever) get angry and scream because he's pissed at something / someone I consider rather annoying.
And if Busey is really "insane" he should not be admitted to such shows. But that would be less "entertaining", I guess. Last edited by Sarge; 08 Feb 2011 at 21:58. |

![]() Likewise, I don't think anyone can blame Meat just yet for being so angry because we don't know if it was justified. To find out if Meat's reaction was justified or not, you've got to watch the show, and how about that? The ad has done it's job ![]() At this point in time I believe Meat has done it for (at least what he at heart believes to be) the right reasons, to do a little good in the world while raising his own profile. The clips i've seen have certainly been explosive. I'm not a fan of people being nasty to each other like that. There's too much of that in the world as it is without celebrities (who are role models to many, wether they like it or not) without going for each others throats and acting like kids in a playground. That said, there is no denying it is popular and compelling viewing to the masses, especially when things are edited to show the worst and played out of context. I think rather than argue about this show, we should at least hold off till we've watched it (or chosen not too) before we discuss the ins and outs ![]() |

Here's an article about the show:
Donald Trump returns with "The Celebrity Apprentice" and an all-new celebrity lineup of candidates: David Cassidy, LaToya Jackson, Dionne Warwick, NeNe Leakes, Meatloaf , Jose Canseco, Richard Hatch, Gary Busey, Lil Jon, Mark McGrath, Hope Dworacyk, Marlee Matlin, Lisa Rinna, Niki Taylor, and Star Jones. This is the fourth installment of "The Celebrity Apprentice" and the eleventh season of the series. Contestants will not be vying for a job with Donald Trump however; instead the business-savvy celebrity contestants will be working towards a greater goal -- as they raise money for their various charities throughout the season. Not only will the final winner be crowned the 'Celebrity Apprentice,' but he or she will also have the honor of delivering a $250,000 bonus check to their designated charity. All of the celebrities will be competing in business-driven tasks around New York City, using their fame along with their proven business acumen to win challenges, while ultimately raising money and awareness for their respective causes. Just as in the regular "Apprentice," the celebrities will be subjected to long hours, grueling mental challenges, personality clashes, and intense scrutiny -- all without the help of their regular support system of agents, managers, and personal assistants. Certain tasks encourage the contestants to reach out to their network of celebrity contacts for assistance or donations -- making for entertaining surprise visits by some of the world's biggest stars along the way. All of the tasks will be judged by Trump and his advisers in the boardroom. Returning back to the boardroom are Trump's children (and colleagues) Ivanka and Donald Trump Jr., alongside longtime Trump Organization employee and "Apprentice" advisor George Ross. |
