I thought it is a bootleg. If i'm correct i think that it is the Cardiff bootleg, but with an other name.
And if i'm wrong, let me know ![]() |

Tim, I think you are correct about "Sex God in concert" - it is an official bootleg of the Cardiff show.
It is however a little annoying that they have made so many different issues of the Cardiff show???? (Cardiff is a great concert, don't get me wrong). I own the "Anything To Live" silver CD set - very nice picture discs and gothic artwork. It is Cardiff as well. |

I have yesterday bought the official bootleg: "Sex God in Concert". On the collectors pleasure label.
Yes it is the Cardiff 1993 show. It is not strange that there are many issues of this show. New York 1993 has also many issues. I have two of my own! |

yes
I agree, the New York show has been reissued 8 times (possibly more!). I think they should release silver discs of rarer shows like "London 85", "Wembley 82" and "Mannheim 94" - They have good enough quality to be released on silver disc. What about that Aschaffenburg bootleg Michel? I didn't know it was officially bootlegged on CD - I never seen it listed on anyones websites (except yours). Could it possibly be a radio show? |

Aschaffenburg I have from nobody.
I don't know if it has been released as an official bootleg, but the sound of that show is super. It just sounds like it is an official bootleg. I also agree that they have to release more bootlegs from rare shows. But also from all shows there are official recordings, because I've heard that they do that from each show. Maybe from a show like vienna they have to make an officical bootleg of, with great sound quality. |

Michel,
it would be so nice to get a hold of soundboard recordings from everyshow - especially Vienna - in my opinion that show is so full of energy that it is screaming for an official release. The Sheffield would also be nice officially released. What I want to know is what happened to all of the radio shows of ML? Meats Palladium 1978 concert was aired on the radio in Philadelphia - where is it? - also there was a 1987 show in Germany aired on radio - what happened to it? Hawkmoon I was supposed to get the HYDE PARK from a good friend of mine - Ewan Shaw. But the person never sent it to him ..... so I couldn't get it. I do have a Leeds show from 2002, it has good sound - although the audience noise is a little annoying. |

Meatles,
Got Leeds already. Taped it myself on a DAT recorder. Still trying to find some time to transfer it. Same with London but due to a huge mistake i erased (ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh) the last 3-4 minutes of BOOH. What is your source of Leeds? Complete? I noticed a guy taping the show on an ordinary analog tape recorder. He had to swap his tape every 45 minutes!!!!!!! Couldn't help myself laughing. |

hi Hawkmoon
I am not sure what Leeds was recorded on - sounds like a digital source - has similiar quality as the 1988 Birmingham show. Anyway, the tracklist for my Leeds isn't complete - 3 songs by Patti - Life is A Lemon - Mercury Blues - Lawyers Guns and Money - Tear Me Down - Dead Ringer - All Revved Up - Anything For Love PS. What kind of quality do you get with a tape recorder? |

Using a DAT (Digital Audio Tape) recorder with the proper mics should result in something as for example the 1999 Ahoy recording or the 2001 NOTP Ahoy recordings. Quality is a little worse if you tape outside as last year in London and Leeds. Why is your Leeds incomplete?

I am not sure why the Leeds isn't complete, I am searching for the rest of the show - However, I am very pleased with my Leeds recording, because it features "Tear Me Down" and "Mercury Blues" - which are rarities. I am supposed to be getting Chicago House of Blues and Iron Mountain .... but they haven't showed up yet! ![]() |
