Although this site is a parody, Drax Fuel actually tried something similar in the past. You can see an archive version of their site here. It's certainly an interesting idea.

I think it's just to show how absurdly taxed fuel is in the UK. I don't know if they even keep the prices up to date, but I believe taxes and duty range somewhere around the 150-160% mark.

Now I would have no problem if all that money was actually invested in transport, but going by recent cuts and at the same time increased tax takings I doubt it is at all.
