A couple of thoughts about the Bat 2 live rehearsal tracks

1) Why on earth was Meat rehearsing Masculine? Was he seriously planning to have it as part of the set for the Bat 2 tour? The other option is that he just decided to do it as a one off for the single release, but Patti and Kasim would have had to learn their parts for one perfomance so that doesn't make sense either. Neither does asking the 'crowd' to shout Jim Steinman during the intro!

2) I wish Meat would have kept the loud bit at the very beginning of Two Out Of Three.

1) My guess is yes. it was. They did a few promo shows for bat 2 like that. he probably did it a few times as a last farewell to his former set mainstay. Then they decided to replace it with lemon on the actual tour. Then lemon has been followed in its footsteps by break it. He probably also asked the crowd to shout Jim Steinman cause every song he wanted to relate to Jim and this song would've been the only Jimless song there of.

this was before all the bat2 tracks became staples of Meat Loaf tours. Maybe he wasnt sure if Lemon, etc would work live the way he wanted. So it's probably a good idea to have a plan B...

On a side note, the 2 outta 3 intro was re-modified into the HCW intro effect on Cardiff
