Default Sympathy & best wishes to Jennifer Hudson

I read with deep sadness in todays news that the mother and brother of Jennifer Hudson have been descovered murdered at the family home with her 7 year old cousin missing believed to be with a man described as armed and dangerous.

I hope that all members of MLUKFC will join with me in passing our deepest sympathy and best wishes to Jennifer at this difficult time.

This is really tragic. I have just read the BBC report. My sympathies to Jen and I really do hope they find the little boy alive and well asap.

Away with guns, all billion of them!

Unhappy

Words just can't express how I feel, this is probably the most tragic and most hurtful way to lose someone because 'it wasn't their time', Jen should be on top of the world having just finished her album and promoting it, and really her career is just taking off then some sad excuse of an individual goes and destroys all that by taking the lives of those most close to her and then kidnapping someone equally close to her, I have a lump in my throat I cannot even think about this, I just send my thoughts and prayers to Jen and her family for this most sad and desperate time.

In moments like this, "The Future Ain't What it Used to Be" resonates more than ever. That she sang on Meat's version of the song makes it a sad coincidence. My best wishes to Jen and to everyone else in her family who have lost so much.

This was the most startling news I've read yesterday...in fact, so startling I didn't even think of posting it here...too much of a shock...

I've read that Hudson's family lived in a very violent crime ridden Chicago neighborhood but I couldn't imagine they were still living there...

Person accused of murder and kidnapping appears to be Jennifer Hudson's former brother-in-law and police is considering this a domestic crime...not clear if missing boy was his son or not because the boy is referred to as Jen's mother's grandson...

There is also Amber Alert issued on the boy and that has been very very effective in the past...so...hopefully they will find him...

Jennifer Hudson's nephew goes missing

The title of this is very harrowing;

Jennifer Hudson: Two triumphs and two tragedies in the space of one week

So the little 7-year-old is still missing .
I hope that he gets found soon.

I was thinking about this and this will be horrible for Jennifer for years and years to come...she will blame herself for letting her family stay in that neighborhood...

That's exactly what I meant...can you imagine living and thinking...if only...if only I was more insistent...if only I bought them a house and made them face it...

I took a later train when my father got ill (only 4 hours difference - needed to finish something for college) and when I came home he already died...and you know...all these years I live with...if only...

Police have just confirmed that the childs body found earlier today is Jennifer's 7yo nephew.

The man responsible for the deaths is Jennifers elder sisters ex husband and stepfather to the 7yo now confirmed as dead.
