Default The Rare Songs: 52. Unsaid

Rare Songs: Unsaid

This wonderful and fantastic ballad was written by Diane Warren and it's the bonustrack of the actual "CHSIB" single. Like "Decadent Wish" it is also a shame that "Unsaid" cannot be found on the new album. How could it be, that a Diane Warren song isn't part of an album? I don't understand that. It's even better than "You're Right, I Was Wrong". Meat, why don't you kicked "Why Isn't That Enough" off the album and instead let "Unsaid" take place on it? Why has such a great ballad become just a B-side track?

9/10

It would have been one of the best song on the album. It's much better than other album songs! Diane Warren is great! Yes, I have to say it's a good song!

My score: 8

Average: 7.13 (107/15)

Because it's quite bad. Personally I could've done without YRIWR too...

You're kidding me, right?

I mean, come on, the main reason it's not on the album, is because its not good enough! Can you spell filler? Personally I find it really dull, and even for a Diane Warren song (where I'm mostly not that fond of) it's sub par. She's done better, Meat's done better, and rightfully of the album... 5/10

Not that I dislike this song, but can't say 'I love it' either.
Seems to me, most people either love YRIWW and Unsaid, or not.

I cannot go any higher than 6/10

Love,

Mariella

Hahahaha, lol. Who would kick WITE off the album and put Unsaid instead? Daine Warren songs sucks. They all suck. Well, almost all.
There is not any emotion in this song. it is just a melody.
5/10. Soemtimes i wonder why some people are a meat loaffan hahaha, lol.

Unsaid is not the best song on the album but it's still good. Let's face it, Meat sings it, so it can't be all that bad.
7/10

Unsaid is a good song i'll grant you that Garrett..but how can you even dare suggest kicking "Why Isn't That enough"off the album!! (to me that's the best song on it)
I prefer" Unsaid " to "You're right i was wrong" its a good song with good lyrics, but not as powerful or memorable as some of the others

8/10

Not a bad little track. It's a pity it only really kicks in after the bridge and the song is cut a little short for my liking.

Maybe if there was a little more of a classic grandiose climax to the track, it would be a favourite of mine. Just falls short of Warren's other songs; "I'd Lie For You" and "Not A Dry Eye In The House" which I think now stand firmly as Meat Loaf favourites!

I give it a 6/10

O...M....G (ohmygod)

This song is amazing, this is really awesome. The best Warren song ever. I got nothing against Mrs. or Ms. Warren, but I don't like most of her songs. But the ones she does with Meat are awesome. This one goes beyond awesome. I love the music, it definetly should have been on the record. Thank You very very much Mariella, for this special single. I love it a lot! The words and vocals are astounding, I love the ending. The bit with the background vocals you know. I can't see anyone giving this song any less than a 5\10. But opinions are opinions and I respect them, but my opinion is 10\10, for astounding vocals, and superb music.

**PS, the song Ms Warren did with Aerosmith was nice. :)**

I also like the edit to CHSIB. Even though I prefer the longer one. The video is awesome, especially seeing Patti . And especially seeing Patti in that dress. Oh no, here I go again. <RSG faints once more to the ground>

Diane Warren...
well, I've already given my opinion about her.
But I have to admit there's a part on that song I like (except Meat's vocals on it) it's the bridge before the last part!

I keep thinking Unsaid could fit on the CHSIBM album story line instead of YWRIWW... but even if Meat's vocals are brilliant it's not enough to save either songs!

6/10
