Nightmare from ebay - NO CONCERT FOR ME (SOB)

Thanks to everyone who gave advice on what I should do re: tickets paid for and not received. (Cricket bat was probably the best advice!!!)

Well, I am going to miss the December concert.

After the phone call last Friday from someone asking for my name and address and "I'll speak to my son" (the seller) nothing happened.

THREE emails were ignored, so tonight I phoned the next-door neighbour AGAIN and asked her to ask the seller to phone me, give me his phone number, and tell me what the hell is going on!

The tickets were sent to him within 2 weeks of September 17th, to the address where I sent my cheque for almost £164. I checked.

Anyway, he phoned me back within a few minutes of the neighbour speaking to him, and told me he is sending me my money back - confirmed via email, the same email address I have been writing to! SO - NO CONCERT FOR ME!

The tickets were for me, my husband, and my son and his partner as a Christmas present. I am DEVASTATED! The tickets were for good seats just 2nd block from the front, 1st row.

Does ANYONE have any spare tickets for MANCHESTER (December) - 2 or 4? My middle son has tickets for Sheffield thanks to Carowl. I am going to the November concert with my daughter, sister and a friend but my eldest son, his partner and my husband are going to miss ML because some b*****d either hasn't got the tickets or has sold them on - see the feedback on ebay for Bingo1954.

I don't know of any spare tickets, but if I do hear of some I will let you know 1st...

Saw your feedback on Ebay, no more than the person deserves. I buy Meatloaf mechandise from Ebay and have been let down before, so I know how you feel.

I havn't left my feedback - there were complaints BEFORE he let me down!

By the time I knew his phone number was not the one given and the tickets had been sent out to him but not forwarded to me, I checked on ebay to find he was no longer a Registered User - so I could not do anything other than try and track him down.

I did thanks to my brother and a helpfull neighbour of the seller - now I have to wait and see if I get a cheque back....
