This is true, you can't see it in Australia either

Doesn't sound bad at all. I love the intros to Took the Words and Two out of Three, as well as all of Boneyard. Sounds like a kick ass version of Break It from the snippet, too. Where they alternate turns singing "break it!" at the end of the second chorus is just plain awesome. My only complaint is that Rock and Roll Dreams isn't on the CD. I don't want to have dig up the DVD just to hear that insane piano solo...oh well :P

They would have performed all of these exactly like this at the Melbourne show I attended, but I don't remember any of these specifics I must have been too stunned by how great it was to take in any fine detail

Amazon have the CD with samples: http://www.amazon.co.uk/Guilty-Pleas...6060195&sr=8-2

Which has all of 10 seconds worth of Meat's singing between all of them.

I was really surprised by the different intros to some of the songs, sounds great! So pleased that they keep changing it up to keep it fresh. AFL intro sounds great, so does Two Out Of Three and TTW!

Respect your opinion but I think he sounds great. Full of drive and energy. He hits some killer big long notes in Break It and Boneyard, and these are just short samples!

Btw the long built up lead in to TTW sounds amazing! And the violin really adds to the intro to AFL.

Hot Patootie sounded totally terrible. And with the exception of the long note held in Boneyard I didn't hear anything that sounded good. Vocal wise it may be worse than 3 Bats, kinda surprised they even went ahead with the release.

But if you enjoy it, that's great, but I honestly don't think I'm gonna spend my money on it after hearing a minute and half samples of each one

Personally I'm glad the violin didn't return this tour. I didn't like the way it sounded in the songs, seemed out of place

I don't think you can say HP sounded totally terrible and vocal wise it's worse than 3 Bats. Remember Meat reads these comments so please show some respect for his feelings. Just say it wasn't to your liking.

I can say anything that I like.

Also, what is with the echo on his voice that seems to be popping up everywhere? Annoying as crap.

It's Meat Loaf singing a duet... with Meat Loaf. Haven't heard enough yet to really judge the vocals but what I've heard so far doesn't knock my socks off. The music sounds very exciting, though. Too bad that such a great song like Peace On Earth apparently can't do without Paddy's presence.

Is it just the sound on my computer or do some of Meat's vocals seem to be a bit drowned out against the others?

You can't say anything you like actually or the mods will rightfully step in, show some respect.

The instrumental mix on those songs is perfect, even better than on the albums it seems. I love the violin on AFL, sounds very early Bruce Springsteen-esque to me.
Meat's vocals are really not that great on those previews in my opinion and appear very drowned out with the backing vocals or with Patti when she is "doubling" the lines (it actually seems MORE than doubling when she comes in, more like take over?).

But for what it is it does sound like a quality product.
