Unfortunately 2008 rates up there with cr*p years for me (seems somebody [who was the cause of some of 2008's anguish] cursed it with the words "...may 2008 be your best year yet"...because it definately wasn't)...at least thinking positively, it's almost over - wish the same could be said for some of the negative stuff left over from 2008 though! But ah well....I hope everyone else's 2008s were better...and here's to 2009 not being 2008!

mines been a mixed year, i started uni and got my own place, which was great! i went on my first holiday with my boyfriend to crete and took my little sister to our first meat loaf concert, where i got to Hi 5 Meat! and my little sister despite being severely dyslexic got straight As on her report, mainstream i might add! on the crap side my nans cancer got diagnosed as terminal, which nearly tore my family to pieces. the credit crunch has brought my dads business to its knees and affected his health with the strain. and yet over all its been a good year, its brought us closer as a family, my nan refuses to give up and is still going strong defying doctors every day, and my dad battles on with his business never once complaining at home. so goodbye to 2008 and heres hoping that 2009 brings much happiness to everyone on MLUKFC!!!!

Well the good out weighs the bad for me

The Good:

met my best freind colin
started theater, which is now the highlight of my day
met meat
got the Toad's Place DVD
ate my first general taso chicken from a chinese place
got a Meat Loaf hoodie

The Bad:

the school board had my meat loaf tribute cancelled
my ipod got stolen
my computer crashed two times in the period of six months

2008 was filled with highs and lows.

Good:

Saw Michael in Hairspray, Wednesday, 23rd April, 2008 and had the great joy of meeting him for the first time afterwards.
Saw Michael in concert for the first time in 17-years on Saturday, 19th July, 2008 and had the great honor to meet him again
I finally got the help I desparetly needed to aid my job search
Had the joy of seeing Meat Loaf and Patti Russo on stage together
Heard Patti sing Bring Me A Bible And A Beer live
Met Matthew Cottle (Game On's Martin)
Mamma Mia! arrived to screen
Sweeney Todd came out
Had a smashing New Year
Have met new people

Bad:

Mum and Dad's divorce became final
Gran's health kept yo-yoing but she seems to keep pulling through
Not seen my friends as much as I would of liked
Been unemployed for too long now

I'm sure there are more that I could add but it's nice to see that the good is better than the bad !!

Mine's been a pretty mixed year. I'm trying to keep focussed on the positives though - I did quite a few things I never thought I'd do and met some fantastic people. Hopefully I'll get to continue that this year.

2008 started off pretty good,then took a complete nose dive...other than seeing Meat,Kasim and Todd in concert pretty down in the dumps year..looking forward to this one being a lot better....

well for me 2008 was a pretty awesome year

and not just because of the birth of our daughter, for so many other reasons, those that know what happened to me and casey the year before will certianly know what i'm talking about, it only served to make us stronger and make me realise how awesome my bigger little girl really is, so much cool stuff has happened to me this year but most of all i have become even more thankful for my real friends who know who they are so no new yrs honours list from me i'm afraid, just know that you are appreciated in the highest regard :). In short....i understand some people alot better, forgood and bad reasons.

but as i said loads of reasons it was an awesome year, couldnt possibly list them all in one post.

I'm sorry for those who had a bad year i certainly know how that goes, here's to a much better 2009 for all that deserve it

When I look back I'd hardly think it's been 12 months since 2007. Besides some minor crap everyone has to deal with this year was pretty good. Mostly thanks to one lady, whose name is starting with B (ending with ubbles) I got to start an amazing job I've dreamt of doing since I was 13. I've made four trips to Meat/Stein-events everytime meeting up with old friends I hadnt seen in a while. If 2009 will be like 2008 I'll be more than happy
