Rock N Roll Mercenaries may not be the best song ever, but it served it's purpose on that album. As for the partnership woth John Parr, have to disagree with you. I think John wrote some great songs Don't Leave Your Mark On Me (production aside) is a fantastic song, and Magical which Meat and John co-wrote which was recorded by Bucks Fizz of all people is superb (although the Bucks Fizz version is pants).
