Thank you for the suggestions, I will be doing something with it for tea tomorrow.

However, I am amazed by the PM's and emails i have recieved on this. To the people who made the comments to me, people do eat things like rabbit.

I fail to see what possible difference there could be between eating rabbit and for example lamb? The idea that it should not be consumed because it can be used as a pet is utter twaddle to be frank. I know several people who have pet sheep but that does not stop me from sitting down to roast lamb of a sunday lunchtime.

Fair enough, some people do not like the thought of this and that is understandable and i accept that, however i fail to see why I should be criticised for eating it. I dare say that I would be ridiculed if i made a fuss over people eating beef as it is offensive to Hindus.

This message is not criticising everyone, merely the people who sent me messages (some quite abusive ones) attacking my personal choice. I appreciate that i could have replied by PM to each person concerned but I can't be bothered!!!

Oh and Ageing Bat, they also gave me Pheasant, Duck and numerous other cuts!! It was a smallholder who I deliver papers to, money was a bit tight so he settled his bills in the currency that he had availabel. in this case, home reared stock!! I really love delivering in summer when he pays in fresh home-grown veg adn fruit!!
