I know what you mean re: 'the good name of punk'...I have to be honest, I clasify things in only 1 of three categories now: Pop, Rock, or Hip Hop...the slippery and ever-changing lines of Disco, indie, punk, heavy metal, techno, hip hop, rap, country, alternative -to name but a few!-(ha!) etc. are just far too dificult (and IMO pretentious) to navigate!!!
I know what punk
feels like, and that's the only way to classify it... (and it sure don't feel like Good Charlotte or Blink 182
)
