I love the strained sound of the guitars in the intro.
Meat's voice sounds very dark in the opening few lines,until the song explodes.
The lyrics are great,very steinmanesque.This album started out to be Bat III,and I think this would have sat on that album very well.
The only thing missing is the darker than sin speech.That would have put the cherry on the cake

It's a shame that Original Sin was never released as a single.Meat does great rock songs as well as great ballards and I would like to see them pushed more.Life Is A Lemon got to the stage of having a promo made,but I don't know why it was never released

Did you know that Taylor Dayne recorded a version of Original Sin with different lyrics for the soundtack of the film The Shadow.
