Okay, sitting here at work and feel the need to clear something up. I rarely mix work with Meat Loaf, but I feel the need to clear something up. I looked in the medical billing book, and Meat did not have a "surgery." Meat Loaf had a "procedure." A cardiac cath is an outpatient procedure, which is defined as less serious than a surgery. I know it is all semantics, but I do feel it is important to understand exactly what is going on. The ablation process that was also performed is also considered a procedure and not a surgery. I find the need to clear this up due to the fact that I read a similar account of Meat having a heart murmur, which is far more serious than WPW syndrome, which set off a flurry of "Meat Loaf is on his death bed" type of posts on a Rocky Horror forum I frequent. I have personally consulted with a cardiologist and have it confirmed that Meat Loaf will more than likely be doing better a couple of weeks after his procedure than he was doing when he was in high school playing football - the cardiac cath with ablation is just that darn good!

ROCK ON MEDICAL ADVANCEMENTS!!!
