To put the above post in perspective. I also watched the Halloween movies entirely. If I ranked the two franchises into one list it would look like this:

I didn't put Halloween 3 in the list as it's a complete different movie (would have ended in place 7, just above Friday 1) and I need to watch the Nightmare on Elmstreet movies again to see where they end in this franchise list
