Meat's mother smoking in bed.
Meat's father going at him with the butcher's knife. "I'm going to make it. I'm going to do something with my life," blah, blah. Read the book and it's chilling. The poor guy is trying to fight his way out of the house or he's going to get killed. It should have been treated like a horror movie. It's not Hollywood tripe. Your own parent is coming at you...
Also, the father died in the 70s. You can find that anywhere on the web. So Meat didn't walk into the house and find posters of "Bat out of Hell" and "Dead ringer" and all of that. The book doesn't say what happened in the end, but I did read somewhere that they met up again, but even the stuff about the shrine... Why change *that* much?

Gee, you can tell that this is a bit of a sensitive issue for me, haha.

No Stoney and Meatloaf. Who was the girl at the audition? No Bad for good. Leslie going into labour while Meat's recording Dead ringer. Did that happen? Or more tripe? It just goes on and on and on.

It's a lot of small details, but they all add up.

Thing is, they had the book right there!!! Why change FACT like that??? WTH was with this movie??

That whole scene with the butcher knife is actually the onl yreal good part imo of the movie, sans the ending with AFL.

I love how hes recording BFG but its obviously Peel Out hes singing XD.....

And when Jim is writing "Bat" he plays the intro to Frying Pan XD

The movie's garbage

Leslie went into labour during bad attitude which they completely disregarded anything from the 80s lol.
