It is what seems to be a genuine reflection of someone where people can't say he is not in a position to know so for some that may create an issue. It sure shoots sown a defense mechanism.
Meat Loaf is not Jesus or Ghandi or anyone of the sort.
The drinking thing has been mentioned by other people who would know in their interviews but I seem to be the only one that read the article so I never brought it up here. The person said this in a published article but I'm not throwing them to the wolves on here.
People keep swearing they don't worship Meat then proceed to write as though they do - not anyone in this thread mind you.. Everyone at some point has their tough times and indulge in a few drinks - the man is human. The fact that he has his moods and angry rants should not surprise anyone on here of all places.
IMO everyone needs to cut both Scott and Meat a break. Take this account as it is. Nothing in it was overly surprising to me whatsoever.
