I just watched the 2013 Emmy's and they were boring and sad. So many people died this year. I thought Carrie Underwood did a wonderful job singing the Beatles "Yesterday" . They also had a not half bad dance routine mid way . All in all, BORING and indeed sad. I did enjoy seeing Jim Parsons on stage with Bob Newhart, it was adorable. Then again, Jim Parsons from "[B]the Big Bang" [B] is cute and I love that show.
Elton John preformed so I guess I should be grateful.
Robin Williams paid tribute the amazing Jonathan Winters. Robin looked so old. I believe he has had a heart attack at some time past. Seeing "Meat Head" pay tribute to Jean Stapleton was difficult. I grew up with " All in the family" and Edith was a wonderful . They let her die in 1980 on the show and I recall how sad that felt, many of us really felt her loss and it affected the show as after she "died" the show was never OK. She died for "real" this year.
time keeps on sliiping into the future....
