I think acoustic stuff is great, although I do understand why it wouldn't be quite so appealing to others. I'm not sure I'd want to hear an entire show of Meat Loaf unplugged, but a slot in the set for one or two songs a night could be cool. It could be an interesting way to approach playing material which doesn't get showcased that often - you don't lose the thunder of one of the bigger hits, which everyone is expecting and wanting to hear at a Meat Loaf show...and there's not a lot of rehearsal involved, considering the substantially smaller amount of people involved. You could put a totally different song in that hypothetical slot practically every show
