Here's an idea! Are there any musicians out there? Anybody who plays an instrument? How about a thread or another "General Messages" "Tiretracks And Broken Hearts" "LBAGG" "BAT III" "CHSIB" "HCTB" kind of thread... where the Meat Loaf fans who play instruments could share and discuss how to play certain Meat Loaf songs or parts of them
Granted, a lot of Meat Loaf and Jim Steinman music is very intricate. A lot of complex parts and pieces. But I feel that if there are enough people who play an instrument on this forum we could learn and enjoy a few things.
For instance I've been wanting to learn how to play DID YOU EVER LOVE SOMEBODY. But when I went to look up a guitar tab. What I perceived by ears something that would be easy to do.. it turns out the song itself is not in standard EADGBE tuning. Which I was bummed cause I don't know how to drop the tuning that way. But I was also delighted to see that even what seemed to be a simple music arrangement was even more complex and deeper than previously thought. Just more reasons to be a Meat Loaf fan
