Krist Novoselic - Kinda like the Kasim Sulton and/or Paul Crook to the Meat Loaf world... Novoselic was Cobain's leaning post if you will. Cobain got a lot of spotlight for being the creative force of Nirvana. But I would argue his counterpart bass player and side drummers over their run are just as important. Novoselic with his poppy rhythems intertwined with punk becoming what is now known as Grunge. Check out any video footage of Nirvana. He was larger than life.
