The only person who truly knows the answer is Meat, Maybe in time he will explain things to us to clarify the situation.
Meat has always said he enjoys playing live, He has also said how much he enjoys the way a good audience makes him feel.
However we have to look at some simple facts.
Meat is no spring chicken. Combine his age with the health problems he has had & with his knees is still having and it could be that the idea of a punishing worldwide tour schedule is just too much no matter how much Meat enjoys performing live.
Maybe it is his last tour but the optimist in me prefers to think it is his last major tour and we will see him again for concerts where he plays a few dates with more than a couple of days between them then takes a break before continuing.
