Can you tell me that you can hear how much of a good drummer John is, or how awesome Paul sounds live, based on that vid?
Would you hire either of them based on a clip that doesn't reflect what they really sound like?
You get some sort of
idea of how it sounds, but the reality is a whole different level.
I've yet to see a mobile phone with a camera so good that it can improve what it's videoing, whereas most cameras on mobile phones can show a terrible quality version of events.
So putting rose coloured glasses over a mobile phone is a impossibility, but putting shit coloured lenses is a probability.
So if you can look at something through shit coloured glasses, and see something worth seeing, then it stands to reason that the real thing shows promise, no?
