I still don't buy this excuse. It may not be the best indication, but you can still tell it whether or not the performance was quality. You can hear what's in pitch and what's in time and what's not.
With that said, Meat's voice here actually reminds me of how it did in 2003-2004ish. Particularly with the energetic screams in all the right places (KILLERS ON THE BLOOD SHOT STREETS!). Sounds brilliant to me
