I just had to bump this thread to add this video- a dream pretty much came true for me last Friday night.
Bruce used to play this song with this long intro back in 1978, and the first time I heard it on a bootleg, I was absolutely floored.
I always wished he'd do it this way again, but didn't think it would ever happen, especially after Bruce himself said he probably never would. Well, something made him change his mind, and he started playing it again this tour, so I had hopes he would play it at one of the shows I saw last week. Not only did he play it, he opened with it, and it was pretty incredible! I'm still pinching myself.
