Nightmare from ebay! Are my tickets safe????
I bought 4 tickets for Manchester, November, through Ticketline, then knowing I would not be satisfied with one concert, I bought 4 more in JUNE from a seller on ebay and paid almost £164.00 for them for Manchester in December. We intend to take my son and daughter in law as a treat as they have had an awful year.
I received my tickets from Ticketline.
I emailed the seller on ebay for the later tickets, who has ignored my emails. I phoned - the line is dead! I checked ebay to see that the seller had negative feedback for the last two transactions, and was no longer registered!!!
Getting seriously worried, I spoke to my brother who has a database of the Electoral Role, and he gave me the name of the person living next door to the person I sent my cheque to so I rang her.
She was really helpfull, bless her, and I found out that the seller still lives at the mailing address given. I asked her to pass my name and phone number to her, and her partner rang to say that I was not going to be "ripped off".
I hope my tickets are sent - has anything similar happened to anyone else, and has anyone got any good advice? I can't BEAR to miss the second concert - the seats are second block from the front.
