My staple answer when the subject of the musical comes up is that Jesus Christ will make his debut in the west end or on Broadway before the Bat musical.
But a few things have got me thinking.
- Jimmy being inducted into the SHOF has put his name back in peoples minds.
- Meat & Jim seeming to be getting on great at the event, which could mean that he and Jimmy could be happy to work together (in part at least) on the project.
- Constantine (a guy i'm told has theatrical connections) joins Meat on stage to sing Bat at the award show.
Would be a very high profile way to intoduce the guy who is to star in the show.
- Jim mentioning the musical after years of silence.
So the time would be perfect for the musical to get to a flying start.
It's a little worrying though that there hasn't been any actual
news.
I'm very doubtful, but perhaps this is a sign that things are about to start happening.
In fact, the time is so right, I think this is the last chance this musical has got of happening.
