The Victors starring George Hamilton and George Peppard. Very interesting war movie, although there were some sudden "jumps" in the plot
and you didn't know what had happened in between. I read that the movie was allegedly withdrawn and edited, maybe the temporarily incoherent plot had something to do with that. (?) I wonder why James Mitchum (who is the spitting image of his dad) didn't make it big.
