Default Moderation Issues.

Some of the moderation is a little ... intense, sometimes. I think you clearly need to distinguish between potentially provocative posts, and posts that are voicing a concern or an opinion, in a non provocative way. And at the same time, realise that everyone has different ideas of humour. As long there's nothing that's outright offensive, I don't see the need to delete posts or remove content, because that could change the intent of the post, and frequently does.

I don't always agree with the ethics of this board, but I like to think that I've learned enough to let some of the things I don't agree with slide, in favour of the privilege of posting here.

If we're going to have rules of moderation like this (i.e., who can say what to whom), then make it fair and even and across the board, and don't single out certain members when other members are doing the same (if not more explicitly stating it) in the same thread.

If it wasn't for the sometimes oppressive vibe from the above issues, this could be a really cool site. And on the whole it IS a really cool site. I mean, Meat Loaf posts here for one thing, and there are a lot of good people with good discussions going on. I'm not going to dwell on it, but it would be cool to know that this is being taken into consideration.

Thanks for reading,

Doode.
