The footage of Meat at the beginning trying to explain to Busey why he'd said in the previous boardroom session that he (Busey) was the hardest to manage was illuminating. Meat was calm, gentle, trying to explain what he meant by keeping focus.

Thats what pisses me off. in the show meat's bein ga peacemaker. but in the promo it has Gary going "Settle Down", making Meat look like the instigator.

The possible exception to finding Busey difficult is Jose, (although he too criticised his leadership style) who seemed to spend large amounts of time just sitting; he sits well He seems also to be determined to throw a negative spanner in the works as soon as Backbone start work on each task. This time it was to knock the choice of RV the team made .. starting an argument that was pointless once the decision had been taken. I guess it's his attempt to flag a cover-my-ass excuse should the team lose. We've all met those people who, when it hits the fan, try to disassociate themselves by saying "Well I thought it was the wrong decision and I said so!" And how anyone would, on a programme being shown across the world, dismiss Country music as being for "hicks" and the uneducated just beggars belief

Agreed. Jose and Richard have issues. Ignorant Richard and Jose's a lazy bum. Jose said in the boardroom he had the "Most stanima".

Busey was imo a less than wholly effective teamleader

True. He got really lucky he had a team to back him up.

Interesting that later when someone expressed uncertainly as to what they were all doing, and how the presentation would go, John said "I think Meat Loaf's got it all in his head"

Further indication of Meat's staying power.

o things just stagnated until Meat and JR came back, when as Meat said "We're going to have to hustle" .. and their return did inject some energy into getting things unpacked and sorted

Meat and JR are Team backbone. They've contributed the most so far to the team and the show in general.

Overall to me Backbone are able to work as a team in terms of delivery more effectively than ASAP, who work much more as a group of individuals pursuing individual agendas. This gives the the edge.

ASAP is epic failure. I can see a three win streak this weekend for Backbone. Dionne will not be a good PM. at all.
