Hi Dave.
I think it was just down to the fact that Meat was not playing himself in the movie.It would't really work for them to say we're not worthy to Tiny the doorman.
It might have been a good gag for Wayne and Garth to tease Tiny about looking like Meat Loaf.
Something like.....
Wayne:Hey man,has anybody ever told you you look like Meat Loaf?
Tiny:No,i've never heard that before.
Never mind.You can't have everything.
