A couple of people I know have said that they made the wrong choice with picking celebrities they did as a lot of kids probably haven't heard of people like Meat, Al Murray and Robson Green but if the celebrities chosen can do a good job of reading the stories and entertaining children I don't think it matters if the kids have never heard of them or not.

That's the hole in the concept really, the kids weren't meant to recognise the celebrities, it was supposed to encourage the parents to read to their kids supposedly by associating it with these big names doing it. I love alot of those celebrities that did it but many were boring even for me and they certainly couldnt keep the attention of my kids, only other stand outs were Al Murray and David Seaman for me, shame about the quality of the books they were reading, one was about farting
