I know that's a way back, WarieL, but I'm so very sorry for your loss and he so young, too.

My dad died at age 48 back in 1973. I was 21 years old at the time, married and out of the house. He left behind, though, my sibs aged 11 through 19, the 19 yo being my brother who is deaf and autistic. He was so much the world to them. He was a great dad and it was a great loss. Imo, the family went a bit dysfunctional after that.

My mom died 7 years later at age 53. I always kind of laugh thinking that at age 59, I'm sort of living on overtly borrowed time or at the least, beating odds... lol ... What are you going to do, right ?
