The footage from the new tour is amazing, don't get me wrong, but around the time of that clip he had complete control of his voice and slotted into each note. I've noticed that when Meat sang like this, 1987 -1994, it seemed to take enormous physical energy to achieve what he wanted. But achieve it he did. Maybe age just gets hold of us. Muscles wear.
I'm 31 and I'm starting to notice little things. Meat is double my age.
