Really can't see how you can complain about what's potentially been left off.
Having said that! "The Way" is a stunning song in my opinion and I believe that's from the Darkness outtakes, but I could be wrong.
There are two versions known to have been recorded, one a bit faster than the other.

Bruce could throw open the vault door and say "Help yourself", and
somebody would still find a reason to complain.
LOL, "The Way" is one of the songs that people are complaining that he left off, but personally, I think it's overrated (blasphemy, I know

). I like the lyrics, but I think the music's kind of plodding, especially the slow version.
I'm most interested to hear that studio version of "The Promise"- I wonder if it will be the same one that's in circulation? My favorite versions of that song, however, are the live versions from '77- '78.
You're right though- regardless of what songs we get, it will be awesome to have good quality versions, since some boots come from very high generation tapes.
It will also be interesting to see what they have remixed/ re-recorded versus what is original from the time period. For instance, what do you think of the "new" song- "Save My Love"? It sounds like a current vocal to me. (I like it, btw
