I remember Meat talking about news articles back in the 70's where they said he had passed out and to have died. i remember him saying something about this.

I was wondering, is their anyone who has these articles they can scan? be an interesting read.

To quote from the autobiography:

"During one of the shows in Australia-Adelaide-they took a picture of me lying down, passed out on stage with the headline MEAT LOAF DEAD" (pg. 199)
