I also had suspicions when they said they sang with the band, come on, everyone must have known that was bull. I honestly did believe that the person had been diagnosed with the big c, but would not make a donation without a site being set up etc. I am disgusted, using an internet forum to try and scam people.

No one should feel silly or bad for donating, you all believed the person to be genuine, and it shows that you’re good hearted and will help anyone in time of needs.

I absolutely agree. Unfortunately I got suckered into this story about singing with the band ... I was actually happy for him But thank you for your kind words.
