My Review:
This is Meat's best non Bat Album, and certainly the best of his 80's stuff.
- Bad Attitude: My actual least favorite song on the album. But is still a very fair rocker with roger.
- Modern Girl: Very rocky, awesome guitar solo, great chorus. The definition of Meat in the 80's. Should've been a bigger hit.
- Nowhere Fast: This was a great little rocker. Excellent chorus. Guitar work is top notch
- Surfs Up: Beautiful in every way. Prefer the UK version with loud percussion.
- Jumpin the Gun: Fun little duet. Nothing special, but it does its job and gives a rocker in between two breath-taking ballads.
- Piece of the Action: One of Meat's finest ballads. Its a crime this wasn't a hit.
- Sailor to a Siren: Excellent vocals and charming lyrics. The instrumentation has always been Iffy with me, but the chorus kicks ass.
- Dont Leave Your Mark On Me: Overkill on the eco effects. Great, dark, powerful song otherwise.
- Cheating in your Dreams: About a husband/boyfriend who kills/seriously injures his wife outta rage. Dark stuff. It suceeded in being epic win.
- Take a Number: Lets just say its great this was cut from the album.
Overall: 9.5/10 (not including Take a Number)
