I think the main problem with Casino Royale was that Daniel Craig potrayed Bond as a pretty nasty and unlikeable bloke. I know it's closer to how Fleming imagined Bond to be, but it didn't make for a good film. Quantum Of Solace on the other hand was just a shaky-cam mess.
