Well, he certainly committed and made it work brilliantly imo.
He played his part wonderfully .. he could have BEEN one of those managers who jump in the ring to wind their wrestlers up. This was our coaching sports-lover Meat at his peak! I think he had fun and enjoyed it, it was a shrewd move to reach millions and make them aware he has a new album out and he punched out more information than I'd have thought possible whilst waiting for his nemesis. It's years since I watched any wrestling, and I've never watched it USA style, but to me he fell like a tyro.
Can't help feeling that to have been up in the ring, promoting in trash-talk style, and pulling off a fall like that might be one of Meat's treasured moments, if not the realisation of a secret ambition
