Well I always thought they had a delay just like radio which always gets bleeped. But on Strictly Come Dancing they just had to continuously apologise for people's remarks. It was hilarious because they were usually very inoffensive overall (eg DAMN
), and the apology only drew more attention to them, but it doesn't look like that was delayed.
